Award-winning artist Judy Salinksy strives to interject her positive, creative attitude and optimism into all her artistic endeavors. Having spent a number of years studying dance, Judy incorporates many of those principles into her art enabling her to incorporate movement into her work and thus allowing the images to explode off the canvas.

Though she has mastered numerous techniques, she still considers herself to be a student of the arts. For the past two decades she has studied with many well-known artists such as Sebastian Capella, Robert Watts, Ron and Vanessa Lemen; at Studio2ndStreet–Encinitas, where she attends many art classes. Not one to limit her interests, Judy works with a variety of subjects and mediums.

Art societies/ organizations, which she participates in, include;
San Dieguito Artist Guild, San Diego Portrait Society, Alliance of Artist in Oceanside and Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators; her goal is to become an active member in the prestigious Laguna Beach Plein Air Society and a children’s illustrator.

Currently she serves as an aerobic & art instructor at Palomar Community College, Judy shares not only her knowledge but also her love of drawing with her students. When not teaching, Judy can be found working on her first children’s illustration “Picture book”.

Judy is a native Californian and currently resides in San Marcos as well as  Encinitas.
